Pulaski County, VA – WDBJ7 recently reported that the Great Wilderness Brewing Company in Pulaski County has officially opened inside a 120-year-old building. According to WDBJ7, the project was a culmination of seven years of planning and two and a half years of construction.
The project, originally announced in December of 2023, contributed 10 new jobs and $1 million in capital investment in Pulaski County. It also marks the first time in town history that there has been a brewery.
The brewery offers craft beer, mocktails, pretzels and flatbread with plans to expand. The owner, Scot Rockafellow, hopes that the brewery will contribute to the revitalization of the Town of Pulaski’s historic district.
