Pulaski County, VA – Valley Business FRONT recently reported that Pulaski County is taking steps to become a top sports and entertainment destination in Virginia. Central to this effort is the development of the 165,000 square feet Pulaski County Sportsplex. The article states that once completed, the complex will become the largest indoor sports, entertainment, and exposition facility in Virginia.
Housed in the former Gala Group manufacturing building, the Sportsplex will offer state-of-the-art indoor amenities for both residents and visitors. The facilities will include up to 26 pickleball courts, a golf simulator, a restaurant, and rentable space for events and tournaments.
Pulaski County is also hoping to capture the attention of the booming youth sports tourism industry, a multi-billion-dollar sector. The new Sportsplex will allow athletes to train year-round regardless of weather and attract regional and national tournaments that will bring visitors and revenue into the New River Valley.
This project represents a major investment in the future of Pulaski County and the NRV. With its versatile design and tourism potential, the Sportsplex will boost the local economy, support small businesses, and enhance the quality of life for residents, solidifying the region as a dynamic destination for sports and entertainment.
