Radford, VA – Recently featured in the Valley Business FRONT magazine, Radford’s Oransi is making headlines. Oransi, founded in 2009, started as an online HEPA air filter company with little competition. Fast forward to 2020 and COVID when the overseas competition expanded as demand for indoor air quality rose around the world. Oransi set itself apart by “reshoring” production and committing to a fully “Made in the USA” product line, an advantage that strengthened both quality and reliability.
According to the article, Oransi relocated to Radford in April 2021 and later merged with motion control and motor tech company Aviemore Technologies. This merger expanded Oransi into the electric motors arena, enabling them to not only produce filters but air purifying systems, ultimately transforming them into an innovative manufacturing powerhouse.
Oransi now not only produces award-winning air purifiers, but also electric motors, chips, batteries, with a move towards liquid cooling systems. Their decision to grow in Virginia’s New River Valley has proven to be a natural fit, thanks to the region’s skilled talent base and long-standing history in electric motors.
