MOVA Awarded USDA Grant
Pulaski County, VA – SW Virginia News recently reported that MOVA Technologies, located in Pulaski County, has received a $649,968 grant from the USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). The funding will help support MOVA’s efforts to address a critical challenge in the poultry industry: reducing ammonia emissions.
MOVA develops air filtration technologies that remove harmful substances from the air and convert them into reusable materials. Their project aims to reduce indoor ammonia levels, improving air quality, enhancing animal health, and animal performance while minimizing environmental emissions. According to the article, the grant will help MOVA “complete a project that advances ammonia capture solutions for concentrated animal feeding operations.”
Funded through the USDA Small Business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer programs, this initiative highlights MOVA’s expertise in developing advanced air emissions filtration technologies.
